Born in Le Mans (France) on March 3, 1977.

Research Interests
I am a marine biogeochemist and a microbe hunter. I am generally interested in environmental factors controlling marine microbial communities
structure and function. So far I have focused my research on the trace metal iron but I am developing interest in other environmental factors which are
also playing an important role in the World Ocean (nutrient bioavailability, intercellular communication, etc). Currently, my research work consists in
hunting new culturable marine microbes and to work in team with natural product chemists to discover new pharmaceutical drugs derived from these
marine isolates.
